LAS VEGAS & HENDERSON
SOUTHERN NEVADA
25 - 27 April 2008

This was one of the very rare occasions when nine of us got together on April 25-28, 2008, in Las Vegas and Henderson, Southern Nevada. Everyone arrived in Las Vegas in several groups on Friday, Apr. 25th.

Aida Tiojangco-Capanzana was in the US vacationing with her husband Alex, and 3 kids. They drove from SoCal.

Rosie & her husband, Phil, flew in from New York (via Los Angeles).

Lui Treyes-Gabriel & Patsy Norona-Rastrullo flew in from the Bay Area in N. California.

Babes & Rick Mendoza, Jojo Angeles-Espinoza, and Maribet de Ubago-Ware drove in from Southern California. Maribet flew in earlier to SoCal from the Bay Area.

Racma and I hosted the get together.

Marilyn Legaspi-Keith lives in Las Vegas. I left her messages to join our get-together but unfortunately, she did not return my calls.

Ruby Teotico and Gloria Poblete were both visiting in California during our get together, but couldn't join us.

On the first day of the get together, we picked up Aida and met up with the others at Makino's. It is a Japanese buffet in Henderson, NV (a city next to Las Vegas).

Then we got together at my home while Lui, Patsy, Jojo, & Maribet got settled in their rooms. Babes & Rick went home with Racma and Jessie to get settled too, then came back to our house. Rosie & Phil joined us later.

There were great gifts and yummy pasalubongs, it felt like we were having Christmas exchange gifts. Thanks for your gifts, ladies!

RUBY - hit na hit yung pasalubong mong bracelets. I got the amber charms. Yaaay!

TESS - yung 1 pasalubong mong duster for Lui, sa akin nagkasya. Buti na lang. Hehehe.

ROSIE - the duster you gave is a bit big, but the fabric is sooo comfortable! Love it!

Tili-an galore. Some of the girls have not seen one another for decades, since high school, especially Racma and Aida. Some of us have remarried a couple of times, some have divorced and never remarried, while some stayed married to the same spouse for a couple of decades. Wow!

Later, we all went to Lucille's at The District for a dinner of southern cuisine & great margaritas. Check out the photos below.
